BTF2027 takes place over three days across two connected venues.
It begins on April 30th in Bilbao with the conference, where the tuna industry comes together to analyse its major challenges. It continues on the 1st and 2nd May in Bermeo, where knowledge meets work, the value chain, culture and the local community. And it culminates on May 2nd, World Tuna Day, with the insights and commitments that will ensure the Forum’s legacy.
These are not two separate events. It is a single experience that moves from the global to the local, from thought to reality, and from conversation to commitment.
The Full Experience is the recommended way to experience BTF2027 in its entirety. For those unable to complete the full programme, the Congress Pass will be available for the international session in Bilbao.
FULL EXPERIENCE

The Full Experience allows you to enjoy the entire Bermeo Tuna Forum programme.
It begins at the Euskalduna Palace, with an international conference bringing together representatives from the worlds of science, industry, institutions, cities and organisations linked to the tuna industry.
It continues in Bermeo, where this dialogue will engage with the people, the jobs, the value chain, the cuisine, the culture and the reality of the tuna-fishing regions.
The programme will culminate on May 2nd, World Tuna Day, with a sharing of insights and commitments that will set the stage for the Forum’s next cycle of work.

The international conference

The One-Day Pass allows you to take part in the first day of the Bermeo Tuna Forum.
It will be an international forum for analysis and discussion on governance, science and data, the market and fair trade, the region and its people.
This pass includes access to the professional programme on April 30th and the Tuna Dinner.
The Forum will continue 1st and 2nd May in Bermeo, where knowledge will meet the local area and shared commitments will take shape.
Bermeo open to the public

Part of the Bermeo programme will be open to the public.
Gastronomy, tuna culture, the value chain and activities linked to World Tuna Day will form part of a programme connected to the Forum as a whole.
Some events will be free to attend. Others may require registration, booking or a specific ticket due to capacity restrictions.
