We bring together those who research, fish for, process, regulate, govern and make their living from tuna to jointly shape the future of the system and turn the conversation into measurable commitments
Two venues. One movement.
the future of tuna cannot be decided from just one shore
Tuna belongs to no one and connects us all. Science, industry, institutions, cities and tuna-fishing communities are coming together to take the next step: from compliance to leadership of the system.
an international forum rooted in reality
We bring together scientific knowledge, sectoral expertise, institutional capacity and local realities to understand the tuna system as a whole.
The Forum does not merely bring together voices. It translates dialogue into measurable commitments, which are publicly monitored and reviewed.
two spaces. one movement.
From the depths to the surface.
From the global to the local.
From thought to commitment.

The waves lapping the coast
Two days where the value chain, labour, gastronomy and tuna culture come together in the region.
Connecting the international dialogue with the people and organisations that sustain the system. An experience for regions that share lessons learnt, sign up to commitments and chart the course for the next Forum.
What began in 2023 continues
The first edition gave rise to the International Declaration on Tuna Sustainability and the Alliance of Tuna Cities and set out a shared agenda for the future of the system.
In 2027, we will review the progress made, incorporate new perspectives and launch a new cycle of commitments.
