With a Master’s Degree in Marine Spatial Planning and another in Combating Organized Crime and Terrorism along with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Maria is the Public Policy Officer for Spain of the EU IUU Coalition.
Previously, she worked in the Government of Ecuador as a Public Policy Specialist, in the Financial Analysis Unit, in the Attorney General’s Office, in the Council of Citizen Participation and Sanitary Control and as a Researcher in Maritime Governance at MaREI.
